Interview
What makes you different?
I was not born with natural abilities so since I started to play basketball I knew that I had to work harder than everyone else, and that's what I did. With time I acquired a big maturity because I have always been really strict with myself. I always take care of my body by eating well, stretching and also trying to get enough sleep to perform better every day. I have also done a lot of meditation, yoga and many other things like writing a journal at the end of each day to see what I can do better and what I can improve upon.
These things make me different from others because I love basketball and I don't want to have regrets, so I will do everything that I can to make my dream come true - to become a professional basketball player. I came to the USA when I was 16 years old. It was very tough emotionally, but I knew it was the price to pay if I wanted to succeed so I did it without any hesitation or regret.
Why do you want to compete in college?
College is another level, another step in life, so to be able to play and study is something that is very exciting for me, because the level is more mature and more physical and it will give me more chances to be ready for where I want to be in the future - becoming a professional player. Also, the education will give me the chance to learn everyday.
College goals?
I want to earn a diploma and get good education. I also want to play at a college level to get experience and develop my game.
Sport and life goals?
I want to become a professional basketball player.I also want to be a businessman and start a clothing brand.
Anything else we should know?
I want to help people and the world. Animals are my primary cause so if one day I will have the opportunity to create my own association, it will be an honor to do so.
